What an amazing read! Bob Goff does a great job of demonstrating what it is to actually live out the love Jesus spoke about!

For my entire life I have been a lover by words, this was my way of making myself feel good without actually doing anything to help out. This book has been a real eye opener, with so many people around me hurting, the best I have done is send a text message saying things like ,”praying for you” or “let me know if there is anything I can do for you.” No one has ever actually responded with any type of request but I’ve gone on with my life feeling pretty good about myself. As I read this book I imagined what life would be like if Jesus were to love me in that manner? Knowing I went through a life changing circumstance like losing a long time job, or losing a family member, or maybe a loved one fell to a terrible sickness, and all Jesus does is send me a text message saying,”PRAYING FOR YOU.” Words without action are meaningless and Bob does a great job of living love and not just talking about it. This will definitely be a book I will continue to come back to in the years to come.
Sometimes prayers are spoken, other times they are said in our actions.
